Connecticut High School Football - Woodland Regional trounces Gilbert/Northwestern/Housatonic

In Saturday's league match, the host Woodland Regional Hawks football squad scored a big 34-0 victory over the Gilbert/Northwestern/Housatonic Yellowjackets.

In their next game, the Hawks clash with the Oxford Wolverines (Oxford, CT) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 6. Woodland Regional will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Wolverines enter the match with a 4-0 record after their 34-16 league win over Kennedy (Waterbury, CT).

The Yellowjackets (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Naugatuck (Naugatuck, CT). The Greyhounds enter the Naugatuck Valley - Copper match with a 4-0 record. In their last match, Naugatuck routed Watertown (Watertown, CT), 35-7, in a league match.
