Maine High School Football - Maine Central Institute drops to Hermon

In Saturday's non-league game, the Hermon Hawks (Hermon, ME) football team knocked off the host Maine Central Institute Huskies (Pittsfield, ME), by a final score of 40-13.
The Hawks (2-5) will now prepare for their game against Old Town (Old Town, ME). The Coyotes come into the non-league game with a 1-6 record. In their last game, Old Town was dropped by Hampden (Hampden, ME), 42-13, in a non-league game.
The Huskies now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host Foxcroft Academy for a D North challenge on Friday, October 6. Maine Central Institute will meet a Ponies team coming off a 35-0 non-league win over Medomak Valley (Waldoboro, ME). The Ponies record now stands at 6-0.
