Connecticut High School Soccer - Woodstock Academy nudges Plainfield

Woodstock Academy Centaurs (Woodstock, CT) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Plainfield Panthers (Central Village, CT), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Centaurs face the Bacon Academy Bobcats (Colchester, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 2. Woodstock Academy will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Ledyard (Ledyard, CT).
The Panthers now have a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host Windham for a Eastern Connecticut III challenge on Monday, October 2. Plainfield will face a Whippets team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Killingly (Killingly, CT). The Whippets record now stands at 3-3.
