The Horizon Hawks football team (Thornton, CO), was tipped 24-17 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Mullen Mustangs (Denver, CO)
The Mustangs (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Brighton (Brighton, CO). The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Brighton nipped Prairie View (Henderson, CO), 19-10, in a league challenge.
The Hawks now sport a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rangeview for a challenge on Saturday, October 7. Horizon will meet a Raiders team coming off a 30-22 league win over Legacy (Broomfield, CO). The Raiders record now stands at 4-2.
