California High School Volleyball - Granada can't hold off Deer Valley

In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Deer Valley Wolverines volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Granada Matadors.
The Wolverines (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Pittsburg (Pittsburg, CA). The Pirates come into the battle with a 0-9 record.
Next, the Matadors encounter the Castro Valley Trojans (Castro Valley, CA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 30. Granada will attempt to advance on its 4-16 season record. The Trojans come into the battle with a 8-6 record after their 2-1 league loss to Bishop O'Dowd (Oakland, CA).
