In Saturday's non-league game, the Bolivar Liberators (Bolivar, MO) soccer squad tipped the visiting McDonald County Mustangs (Anderson, MO), by a final score of 1-0.

The Liberators (9-3) will now prepare for their game against Hillcrest (Springfield, MO). The Hornets go into the Ozarks challenge with a 3-6 record.

The Mustangs now have a 4-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cassville for a Big 8 challenge on Tuesday, October 3. McDonald County will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 7-2 non-league win over College Heights Christian (Joplin, MO). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-4.
