The Carthage Tigers (Carthage, MO) soccer bounced the visiting Capital City Cavaliers (Jefferson City, MO), 5-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
With the victory, Carthage moves its record to 14-1 on the year. The Tigers host Joplin (Joplin, MO) to battle the Eagles in a Central Ozarks - Large bout on Tuesday, October 3. The Eagles enter the bout with a record of 7-5. Joplin won 6-0 in their recent non-league bout against Pittsburg (Pittsburg, KS)
In their next game, the Cavaliers battle the Hickman Kewpies (Columbia, MO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, October 3. Capital City will attempt to move on its 3-5 season record. The Kewpies enter the bout with a 10-2 record after their 8-0 non-league win over Fatima (Westphalia, MO).
