In Saturday's non-league game, the Dunlap Eagles (Dunlap, IL) soccer squad overwhelmed the host Saint Viator Lions (Arlington Heights, IL), by a final score of 6-1.
The Eagles (9-3) will now prepare for their game against Bloomington (Bloomington, IL). The Purple Raiders enter the non-league challenge with a 2-11 record. In their last challenge, Bloomington was overwhelmed by Springfield (Springfield, IL), 8-0, in a non-league challenge.
The Lions now have a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they host Nazareth Academy for a East Suburban Catholic challenge on Monday, October 2. Saint Viator will confront a Roadrunners team coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Riverside-Brookfield (Riverside, IL). The Roadrunners record now stands at 4-12.
