The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Grafton Bearcats (Grafton, WV) and the visiting Point Pleasant Big Blacks (Point Pleasant, WV), saw Grafton's soccer squad get by Point Pleasant by a margin of 2-1.
The Bearcats now sport a 10-5 record. They play next when they travel to Robert C. Byrd for a Big Ten test on Tuesday, October 3. Grafton will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to University (Morgantown, WV). The Eagles record now stands at 7-3.
With the loss, Point Pleasant drops to 10-2 on the season. The Big blacks host St. Joseph Central (Huntington, WV) to encounter the Irish in a Freelance test on Tuesday, October 3. The Irish come into the test with a record of 12-4. St. Joseph Central won 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Nitro (Nitro, WV)
