In Saturday's league battle, the host Grand Rapids Thunderhawks soccer squad scored a close 1-0 triumph over the Princeton Tigers.
The Thunderhawks (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against Marshall (Duluth, MN). The Hilltoppers come into the Class A Section 7 battle with a 7-3 record. In their last battle, Marshall nudged Robbinsdale Cooper (New Hope, MN), 4-3, in a non-league battle.
The Tigers (8-4) will now prepare for their battle against St. Francis (St. Francis, MN). The Fighting Saints come into the non-league battle with a 3-9 record. In their last battle, St. Francis nudged Big Lake (Big Lake, MN), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
