Next, the Porters confront the Geneseo Maple Leafs (Geneseo, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 30. Lockport will attempt to better on its 8-4 season record. The Maple Leafs enter the challenge with a 0-9 record after their 7-1 non-league loss to Dunlap (Dunlap, IL).

The Rocks now have a 6-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Galesburg for a Western Big 6 challenge on Tuesday, October 3. Rock Island will confront a Silver Streaks team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Metamora (Metamora, IL). The Silver Streaks record now stands at 12-4.
