Quincy Blue Devils (Quincy, IL) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Marist RedHawks (Chicago, IL), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Blue Devils confront the Sterling Golden Warriors (Sterling, IL) in a Western Big 6 challenge, on Tuesday, October 3. Quincy will attempt to better on its 5-10 season record. The Golden Warriors enter the challenge with a 7-10 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to LaSalle-Peru (LaSalle, IL).

The RedHawks now have a 3-12 record. They take the field next when they host Joliet Catholic for a East Suburban Catholic challenge on Wednesday, October 4. Marist will confront a Hilltoppers team coming off a 9-0 league loss to St. Patrick (Chicago, IL). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 4-15.
