Centralia Panthers (Centralia, MO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Marshall Owls (Marshall, MO), 14-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 15-7 record. They take the field next when they host North Callaway for a non-league challenge on Monday, October 2. Centralia will face a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 8-7 non-league loss to Smith-Cotton (Sedalia, MO). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 14-13.

With the loss, Marshall falls to 2-16 on the campaign. The Owls travel to Clinton (Clinton, MO) to face the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Monday, October 2.
