The Kirksville Tigers softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting North Callaway Thunderbirds to 4 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Kirksville improves its record to 13-9 on the year. The Tigers travel to Hannibal (Hannibal, MO) to clash with the Pirates in a non-league game on Tuesday, October 3. The Pirates come into the game with a record of 2-15. Hannibal lost 18-0 in their recent non-league game against Hallsville (Hallsville, MO)

In their next game, the Thunderbirds clash with the Smith-Cotton Tigers (Sedalia, MO) in a non-league game, on Saturday, September 30. North Callaway will attempt to improve on its 14-13 season record. The Tigers come into the game with a 14-10 record after their 6-3 non-league win over Marshall (Marshall, MO).
