Lutheran Cougars (St. Peters, MO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Parkway North Vikings (St. Louis, MO), 17-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Cougars now own a 8-10 record. They take the field next when they host Fort Zumwalt North for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, October 3. Lutheran will face a Panthers squad coming off a 13-2 non-league loss to Washington (Washington, MO). The Panthers record now stands at 4-16.

With the loss, Parkway North falls to 5-17 on the campaign. The Vikings host Pattonville (Maryland Heights, MO) to face the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Monday, October 2. The Pirates enter the challenge with a record of 1-11. Pattonville lost 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Hazelwood West (Hazelwood, MO)
