In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Plattsburg Tigers softball team scored a nice 19-6 win over the Stanberry Bulldogs.
Coming up next, the Tigers encounter the Lathrop Mules (Lathrop, MO) in a Class 2 District 14 outing, on Tuesday, October 3. Plattsburg will attempt to improve on its 17-4 season record. The Mules enter the outing with a 4-13 record after their 18-8 non-league loss to Penney (Hamilton, MO).
The Bulldogs (1-15) will now prepare for their outing against Lafayette (St. Joseph, MO). The Fighting Irish enter the non-league outing with a 11-12 record. In their last outing, Lafayette was routed by Savannah (Savannah, MO), 10-2, in a league outing.
