Sherwood Marksmen (Creighton, MO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Sullivan Eagles (Sullivan, MO), 4-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Marksmen now own a 14-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wheatland for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, October 3. Sherwood will battle a Mules squad coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Halfway (Halfway, MO). The Mules record now stands at 18-3.

With the loss, Sullivan falls to 10-13 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to St. Francis Borgia (Washington, MO) to battle the Knights in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, October 3. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 15-5.
