The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Academy of the Sacred Heart Cardinals (New Orleans, LA) and the host Academy of the Sacred Heart Saints (Grand Coteau, LA), saw Academy of the Sacred Heart's volleyball squad beat Academy of the Sacred Heart by a tally of 3-1.
With the win, Academy of the Sacred Heart upgrades its record to 13-9 on the year. The Cardinals host De La Salle (New Orleans, LA) to play the Cavalier in a Division IV District 7 bout on Tuesday, October 3. The Cavalier go into the bout with a record of 3-6.
The Saints now own a 8-7 record. They play next when they travel to Carencro for a non-league bout on Monday, October 2. Academy of the Sacred Heart will play a Bears squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Beau Chene (Arnaudville, LA). The Bears record now stands at 3-11.
