The Ames Little Cyclones volleyball team (Ames, IA), went down 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting North Polk Comets (Alleman, IA)

The Comets (25-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Pella (Pella, IA). The Dutch enter the non-league challenge with a 15-9 record. In their last challenge, Pella defeated Oskaloosa (Oskaloosa, IA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Little Cyclones encounter the Mason City Mohawks (Mason City, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 3. Ames will attempt to move on its 8-13 season record. The Mohawks enter the challenge with a 6-20 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Hoover (Des Moines, IA).
