Michigan High School Volleyball - Anchor Bay over Springport

Anchor Bay Tars (Fair Haven, MI) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Springport Spartans (Springport, MI), 2-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Tars clash with the Pioneer Pioneers (Ann Arbor, MI) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 30. Anchor Bay will attempt to advance on its 8-8 season record. The Pioneers come into the match with a 4-7 record after their 3-1 league loss to Skyline (Ann Arbor, MI).

With the loss, Springport drops to 12-8 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Union City (Union City, MI) to clash with the Chargers in a Big 8 match on Tuesday, October 3. The Chargers come into the match with a record of 7-6. Union City lost 3-0 in their recent league match against Bronson (Bronson, MI)
