The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Aquinas Institute Little Irish (Rochester, NY) and the visiting North Rose-Wolcott Cougars (Wolcott, NY), saw Aquinas Institute's volleyball squad beat North Rose-Wolcott by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Aquinas Institute upgrades its record to 3-3 on the year. The Little Irish travel to Bishop Kearney (Rochester, NY) to play the Kings in a Section 5 Private-Parochial bout on Thursday, October 5. The Kings go into the bout with a record of 1-2.

The Cougars now own a 2-9 record. They play next when they travel to East Rochester for a Section 5 Wayne County bout on Monday, October 2. North Rose-Wolcott will play a Bombers squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Newark (Newark, NY). The Bombers record now stands at 7-2.
