Cross County Cougars (Stromsburg, NE) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Aquinas Monarchs (David City, NE), 2-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Cougars clash with the Aquinas Monarchs (David City, NE) in a D1 District 5 match, on Saturday, September 30. Cross County will attempt to advance on its 17-6 season record. The Monarchs come into the match with a 2-17 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Bishop Neumann (Wahoo, NE).

With the loss, Aquinas drops to 3-19 on the campaign. The Monarchs travel to Pender (Pender, NE) to clash with the Pendragons in a non-league match on Saturday, September 30.
