In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Wynot Blue Devils volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Aquinas Monarchs.

The Blue Devils (14-3) will now prepare for their battle against Elmwood-Murdock (Murdock, NE). The Knights come into the non-league battle with a 15-3 record. In their last battle, Elmwood-Murdock achieved victory over Mead (Mead, NE), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Monarchs clash with the Cross County Cougars (Stromsburg, NE) in a D1 District 5 battle, on Saturday, September 30. Aquinas will attempt to advance on its 3-19 season record. The Cougars come into the battle with a 15-5 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Wood River (Wood River, NE).
