Oregon High School Volleyball - South Medford can't hold off Ashland

In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Ashland Grizzlies volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the South Medford Panthers.
The Grizzlies (4-11) will now prepare for their battle against Thurston (Springfield, OR). The Colts come into the 5A Midwestern battle with a 12-4 record. In their last battle, Thurston nudged Springfield (Springfield, OR), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Panthers encounter the Foothill Cougars (Palo Cedro, CA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 30. South Medford will attempt to advance on its 10-10 season record. The Cougars come into the battle with a 13-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Pleasant Valley (Chico, CA).
