The Azusa Aztecs volleyball team (Azusa, CA), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Carpinteria Warriors (Carpinteria, CA)
The Warriors (12-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Thacher (Ojai, CA). The Toads come into the non-league challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, Thacher was edged by Santa Clara (Oxnard, CA), 3-1, in a league challenge.
Next, the Aztecs encounter the Santa Ynez Pirates (Santa Ynez, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 30. Azusa will attempt to move on its 15-8 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 7-14 record after their 3-0 league loss to Mission College Prep (San Luis Obispo, CA).
