The Elizabethtown Panthers held off the visiting Beechwood Tigers volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Panthers now have a 13-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Christian Academy-Louisville for a non-league test on Saturday, September 30. Elizabethtown will confront a Centurions team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Logan County (Russellville, KY). The Centurions record now stands at 16-4.
The Tigers (21-10) will now prepare for their test against Oldham County (Buckner, KY). The Colonels enter the non-league test with a 14-9 record. In their last test, Oldham County was nudged by Frederick Douglass (Lexington, KY), 2-0, in a non-league test.
