The Pillager Huskies topped the host Blake Bears volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Huskies now have a 9-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Staples-Motley for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 3. Pillager will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Pine River-Backus (Pine River, MN). The Cardinals record now stands at 11-8.

The Bears (7-7) will now prepare for their test against Providence Academy (Plymouth, MN). The Lions enter the Independent Metro Athletic test with a 10-1 record. In their last test, Providence Academy gained a win over St. Paul Academy-Summit (St. Paul, MN), 3-0, in a non-league test.
