In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Catawba Ridge Copperheads volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Blue Ridge Fighting Tigers.
The Copperheads (12-7) will now prepare for their battle against Wren (Piedmont, SC). The Hurricanes come into the non-league battle with a 19-1 record. In their last battle, Wren achieved victory over Southside (Greenville, SC), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Fighting Tigers clash with the J.L. Mann Patriots (Greenville, SC) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 30. Blue Ridge will attempt to advance on its 6-12 season record. The Patriots come into the battle with a 15-3 record after their 3-2 league win over Woodmont (Piedmont, SC).
