California High School Volleyball - Mountain Ridge over Buckley

September 30, 2023: Sherman Oaks, CA 91423

In Saturday's non-league contest, the Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions (Glendale, AZ) volleyball squad knocked off the host Buckley Griffins (Sherman Oaks, CA), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Mountain Lions battle the Basha Bears (Chandler, AZ) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 30. Mountain Ridge will attempt to better on its 11-14 season record. The Bears come into the contest with a 9-16 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Mayfield (Pasadena, CA).

With the loss, Buckley drops to 6-6 on the campaign. The Griffins travel to Campo Verde (Gilbert, AZ) to battle the Coyotes in a non-league contest on Sunday, October 1. The Coyotes come into the contest with a record of 14-16. Campo Verde won 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Oxford (Oxford, MS)
