The Oran Eagles volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Cairo Pilots to 0 in the Eagles non-league victory on Saturday.
The Eagles now possess a 5-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bell City for a non-league game on Tuesday, October 3. Oran will meet a Cubs team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Logan-Rogersville (Rogersville, MO). The Cubs record now stands at 14-8.
The Pilots (4-6) will now prepare for their game against Richland (Essex, MO). The Rebels enter the non-league game with a 1-10 record. In their last game, Richland was dropped by Bloomfield (Bloomfield, MO), 2-0, in a non-league game.
