The Pleasant Valley Spartans (Pleasant Valley, IA) volleyball overcame the host Cascade Cougars (Cascade, IA), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.

With the win, Pleasant Valley betters its record to 25-4 on the year. The Spartans travel to West Liberty (West Liberty, IA) to face the Comets in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 30. The Comets go into the outing with a record of 16-7. West Liberty won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Wilton (Wilton, IA)
