    The Manchester Flying Dutchmen held off the visiting Cass City Red Hawks volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

    The Flying Dutchmen now have a 10-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pewamo-Westphalia for a non-league test on Saturday, September 30. Manchester will confront a Pirates team coming off a 3-0 league win over Dansville (Dansville, MI). The Pirates record now stands at 35-0.

    The Red Hawks (7-5) will now prepare for their test against Vassar (Vassar, MI). The Vulcans enter the Greater Thumb - West test with a 4-17 record. In their last test, Vassar was nudged by Reese (Reese, MI), 3-1, in a league test.
