South Carolina High School Volleyball - J.L. Mann tips Crescent

September 30, 2023: Iva, SC 29655

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the J.L. Mann Patriots (Greenville, SC) and the host Crescent Tigers (Iva, SC), saw J.L. Mann's volleyball squad nip Crescent by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, J.L. Mann upgrades its record to 18-4 on the year. The Patriots travel to James F. Byrnes (Duncan, SC) to play the Rebels in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 30. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 3-15. James F. Byrnes won 3-2 in their recent league bout against Spartanburg (Spartanburg, SC)

The Tigers now own a 8-12 record. They play next when they host Pendleton for a AAA Region 1 bout on Tuesday, October 3. Crescent will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Seneca (Seneca, SC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-8.
