Connecticut High School Volleyball - Pomfret School edged by Cushing Academy

The Cushing Academy Penguins held off the host Pomfret School Griffins volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's league test.
The Penguins now have a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eagle Hill for a non-league test on Monday, October 2.
The Griffins (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Kingswood Oxford (West Hartford, CT). The Wyverns enter the NEPSAC test with a 0-1 record.
