The Darien Blue Wave volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting East Haven Yellowjackets to 0 in the Blue Wave non-league victory on Saturday.

The Blue Wave now possess a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southington for a non-league game on Saturday, September 30. Darien will meet a Blue Knights team coming off a 3-1 league win over Farmington (Farmington, CT). The Blue Knights record now stands at 9-3.

The Yellowjackets (1-11) will now prepare for their game against Branford (Branford, CT). The Hornets enter the Southern Connecticut - Hammonasset game with a 6-3 record. In their last game, Branford was dropped by Law (Milford, CT), 3-1, in a league game.
