In Saturday's non-league contest, the West Liberty Comets (West Liberty, IA) volleyball squad knocked off the visiting Decorah-North Winneshiek Vikings (Decorah, IA), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Comets battle the Pleasant Valley Spartans (Pleasant Valley, IA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 30. West Liberty will attempt to better on its 20-8 season record. The Spartans come into the contest with a 20-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Davenport Central (Davenport, IA).

With the loss, Decorah-North Winneshiek drops to 9-12 on the campaign. The Vikings host Charles City (Charles City, IA) to battle the Comets in a Northeast Iowa contest on Tuesday, October 3. The Comets come into the contest with a record of 18-4.
