South Dakota High School Volleyball - Douglas over Mitchell

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Douglas Patriots (Box Elder, SD) and the visiting Mitchell Kernels (Mitchell, SD), saw Douglas's volleyball squad beat Mitchell by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Douglas upgrades its record to 9-8 on the year. The Patriots host Spearfish (Spearfish, SD) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 30. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 8-11. Spearfish won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against More (Rapid City, SD)

The Kernels now own a 4-12 record. They play next when they travel to Spearfish for a AA District 1 bout on Saturday, September 30. Mitchell will play a Spartans squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over More (Rapid City, SD). The Spartans record now stands at 8-11.
