Louisiana High School Volleyball - Doyle can't hold off Thomas Jefferson

In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Thomas Jefferson volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Doyle Tigers.
The (10-15) will now prepare for their battle against West St. John (Edgard, LA). The Rams come into the non-league battle with a 3-9 record. In their last battle, West St. John nudged Lutheran (Metairie, LA), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Tigers encounter the St. Thomas Aquinas Falcons (Hammond, LA) in a Division IV District 4 battle, on Tuesday, October 3. Doyle will attempt to advance on its 8-13 season record. The Falcons come into the battle with a 5-6 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy (Kenner, LA).
