The Edina Hornets held off the host Forest Lake Rangers volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Hornets now have a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hopkins for a Lake test on Tuesday, October 3.
The Rangers (8-9) will now prepare for their test against Park (Cottage Grove, MN). The Wolfpack enter the Suburban East test with a 11-4 record. In their last test, Park held off Two Rivers (Mendota Heights, MN), 3-0, in a non-league test.
