The Eureka Hornets topped the host Peoria Notre Dame Irish volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Hornets now have a 16-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mahomet-Seymour for a non-league test on Saturday, September 30. Eureka will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-0 league win over Mattoon (Mattoon, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 17-3.
The Irish (6-13) will now prepare for their test against Pekin (Pekin, IL). The Dragons enter the non-league test with a 9-8 record. In their last test, Pekin was knocked off by Dunlap (Dunlap, IL), 2-0, in a league test.
