The Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial Knights volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Fairmont Cardinals to 0 in the Knights non-league victory on Saturday.

The Knights now have a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva for a non-league game on Saturday, September 30. Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial will meet a Panthers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Blooming Prairie (Blooming Prairie, MN). The Panthers record now stands at 5-6.

The Cardinals (2-13) will now prepare for their game against Kenyon-Wanamingo (Kenyon, MN). The Knights enter the non-league game with a 12-1 record. In their last game, Kenyon-Wanamingo gained a win over Hayfield (Hayfield, MN), 3-0, in a league game.
