North Carolina High School Volleyball - Highland Tech nudged by Perquimans

The Highland Tech Rams volleyball team (Gastonia, NC), was nudged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Perquimans Pirates (Hertford, NC)

The Pirates (15-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Ayden - Grifton (Ayden, NC). The Chargers enter the non-league challenge with a 15-0 record. In their last challenge, Ayden - Grifton nipped Greene Central (Snow Hill, NC), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Rams encounter the Cherryville Ironmen (Cherryville, NC) in a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A challenge, on Tuesday, October 3. Highland Tech will attempt to move on its 20-2 season record. The Ironmen enter the challenge with a 9-9 record after their 3-0 league win over Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC).
