The Spearville Lancers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Holcomb Longhorns to 0 in the Lancers non-league victory on Saturday.

The Lancers now have a 17-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Minneola for a non-league game on Tuesday, October 3. Spearville will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Ingalls (Ingalls, KS). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-11.

The Longhorns (17-8) will now prepare for their game against Liberal (Liberal, KS). The Redskins enter the non-league game with a 6-15 record. In their last game, Liberal dropped by Newton (Newton, KS), 2-0, in a non-league game.
