Florida High School Volleyball - Ida Baker can't hold off Sarasota

In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Sarasota Sailors volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Ida Baker Bulldogs.

The Sailors (8-10) will now prepare for their battle against North Port (North Port, FL). The Bobcats come into the non-league battle with a 8-8 record. In their last battle, North Port was edged by Lemon Bay (Englewood, FL), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Bulldogs clash with the Port Charlotte Pirates (Port Charlotte, FL) in a non-league battle, on Monday, October 2. Ida Baker will attempt to advance on its 10-8 season record. The Pirates come into the battle with a 8-8 record after their 2-1 league loss to Parrish Community (Parrish, FL).
