The South Eugene Axe topped the visiting Lake Oswego Lakers volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Axe now have a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grants Pass for a 6A Southwest test on Monday, October 2.
The Lakers (5-10) will now prepare for their test against Southridge (Beaverton, OR). The Skyhawks enter the non-league test with a 0-14 record. In their last test, Southridge was knocked off by Mountainside (Beaverton, OR), 3-0, in a league test.
