The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Ottumwa Bulldogs (Ottumwa, IA) and the host Lynnville-Sully Hawks (Sully, IA), saw Ottumwa's volleyball squad beat Lynnville-Sully by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Ottumwa upgrades its record to 18-6 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Newton (Newton, IA) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 30. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 9-8. Newton lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Indianola (Indianola, IA)

The Hawks now own a 12-9 record. They play next when they host Sigourney for a South Iowa Cedar bout on Monday, October 2. Lynnville-Sully will play a Savages squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Montezuma (Montezuma, IA). The Savages record now stands at 10-5.
