In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Marion Wolves volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Waukon Indians.

The Wolves (20-8) will now prepare for their battle against Waterloo West (Waterloo, IA). The Wahawks come into the non-league battle with a 7-9 record. In their last battle, Waterloo West lost by Western Dubuque (Epworth, IA), 3-2, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Indians clash with the New Hampton Chickasaws (New Hampton, IA) in a Northeast Iowa battle, on Tuesday, October 3. Waukon will attempt to advance on its 8-10 season record. The Chickasaws come into the battle with a 22-5 record after their 2-1 non-league win over AGWSR (Ackley, IA).
