The Mayo Spartans volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Osseo Orioles to 1 in the Spartans non-league victory on Saturday.

The Spartans now have a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shakopee for a non-league game on Saturday, September 30. Mayo will confront a Sabers team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Lakeville North (Lakeville, MN). The Sabers record now stands at 5-8.

The Orioles (11-6) will now prepare for their game against Coon Rapids (Coon Rapids, MN). The Cardinals enter the Northwest Suburban game with a 4-14 record. In their last game, Coon Rapids was nudged by Maple Grove (Maple Grove, MN), 3-2, in a league game.
