Ohio High School Volleyball - Piketon routed by Minford

The Minford Falcons volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Piketon Redstreaks to 0 in the Falcons non-league victory on Saturday.

The Falcons now possess a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eastern for a Southern Ohio II game on Monday, October 2. Minford will meet a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Portsmouth West (West Portsmouth, OH). The Eagles record now stands at 8-9.

The Redstreaks (5-13) will now prepare for their game against Zane Trace (Chillicothe, OH). The Pioneers enter the Scioto Valley game with a 7-11 record. In their last game, Zane Trace was dropped by Adena (Frankfort, OH), 3-0, in a league game.
