The Mustangs (24-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Marion (Marion, IA). The Wolves enter the non-league challenge with a 20-8 record. In their last challenge, Marion defeated Sumner-Fredericksburg (Sumner, IA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Chickasaws encounter the Waukon Indians (Waukon, IA) in a Northeast Iowa challenge, on Tuesday, October 3. New Hampton will attempt to move on its 22-5 season record. The Indians enter the challenge with a 8-10 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Marion (Marion, IA).
